A project with Digitup Studio starts at €1,000 and is delivered from 2 weeks. Above that minimum, the price depends on what the tool has to do, which channels it runs on (web, WhatsApp, phone), which systems it connects to (clinical software, scheduling, calendar) and how much information it handles. A simple assistant with the clinic's information sits closer to the minimum; a patient portal or an operations layer for several centres costs more. Depending on the project, payment can be by milestones, spread over 6 or 12 months or as a monthly fee, as we explain in how we work.
The minimum delivery time is 2 weeks, for small, well-defined scopes. A first working version can usually be validated within weeks if the scope is clear; connecting several tools, building a patient portal or coordinating several centres may take more phases. You do not need a complete platform from day one: you can start with one piece, such as WhatsApp and pre-visit forms, and add appointments, follow-up or a portal later. We do not work with a standard number of weeks; we set the schedule once we understand how the clinic operates. If you need something in production in under 2 weeks, we are probably not the right option.
Yes, and that is the starting point: we do not want to replace your clinical software, but to connect what happens around it. Where technically possible, we connect scheduling, the calendar, email, Drive, WhatsApp, the payment gateway and telephony. With clinical software, integration depends on it offering a reliable API or data export, and we check that before committing to anything. If there is no reliable technical route, we tell you and look for a way to complement it without duplicating the front-desk work. On the phone, an AI voice agent can answer patient calls, capture the reason and leave the task ready for the team.
Health data is a special category of personal data under the GDPR, with reinforced requirements. The clinic, as data controller, decides how it complies with that regulation and with its team's professional secrecy duty; we do not give legal advice and we build to the requirements you set. In every tool we apply role-based permissions, separation of information, action logging, protected credentials, backups and human review in sensitive processes. Each piece uses only the data it needs, we define what the AI can consult and do, and we choose the model provider with you based on privacy, cost and type of task.
Coordination that is done by hand today automates well: answering frequent questions, collecting patient data and the reason for the visit beforehand, sending reminders and confirmations, handling appointment changes, flagging pending forms or documents and scheduling follow-ups. On WhatsApp, an AI assistant can organise conversations and pass to the front desk those that need a person. What we do not automate is clinical judgement: diagnosing, prescribing a treatment, clinically assessing how serious a case is or answering specific medical questions stays in the hands of the professionals. The AI organises and prepares; the team attends and decides.
Digitup Studio is a technical studio in Madrid, founded in 2019 and led directly by its two partners: Stas Nikitin, CEO, who handles product and project management, and Anton Zverev, CTO, who leads architecture and development. They are your contacts from start to finish, and the project does not pass to a junior team after the first meeting. Depending on what is needed, specialists from our network in UX/UI, frontend, backend, data or AI join in, but the people in charge do not change. After launch we can stay on as your technology team: infrastructure, security, AI and evolution.
No. We do not yet have any clinic case study published, and we prefer to say so clearly. The closest thing to the sector is a hybrid healthcare appointment app with route optimisation, on which Sigma Data Services left a review on Sortlist in 2023. In total we have developed more than 50 projects since we started, and in our case studies you can see internal systems, backoffices, chatbots with human handover and an AI virtual call centre, with logic similar to what a clinic needs. That is why we do not claim a clinic specialisation, but pieces we have already built in other sectors.
With a 30-minute, no-commitment call with Anton Zverev, the CTO. You do not need to arrive with a solution in mind: it is enough to tell us how new patients come in, where the front desk loses time with WhatsApp and appointments, which clinical software you use and which follow-up depends today on the team's memory. We review the case, propose an approach and phases, and also tell you if we think it is not worth building. If you prefer to start with a map of processes and prioritised opportunities, we can first run an AI audit.
We don’t want to sell you another clinical system. We want to understand how your clinic works and build technology around the processes that can truly improve.
A process, a tool or an idea. That’s enough to start.
