We take your team's repetitive hours and apply a realistic automation factor (≈40% for processes, ≈55% with AI + assistants). It's a directional estimate to help you prioritize — not a quote. On a call we refine it for your case.

Methodology
How is this estimate calculated?
The Digitup Studio calculator takes the repetitive hours per month (people × weekly hours per person × 4.33) and applies a fixed percentage: 40% with Automation and 55% with AI + assistants. It then converts those hours into euros per year using your cost per hour, and into 8-hour work days.

The sliders range from 1 to 40 people, from 1 to 40 h per week and from €15 to €120 per hour. The 4.33 comes from dividing 52 weeks by 12 months. Intermediate steps are not rounded: only the result you see on screen is rounded. With AI + assistants, the same inputs give 119 h per month, €50,012 per year and 179 days.
Assumptions
What does the calculation assume and what does it leave out?
It assumes you always recover the same percentage of those hours, across all people and tasks, and it does not subtract what the solution costs: it is a gross saving. The 40% and 55% are calculation assumptions for prioritizing, not results measured on projects or a promise of savings.
What it assumes
- That those hours repeat all 52 weeks of the year, with no holidays or days off.
- That each recovered hour is worth the cost per hour you enter.
- That a work day is 8 hours.
What it does not take into account
- The cost of building and maintaining the solution, of licences and of the use of AI models.
- Set-up time and how long your team takes to adopt the solution.
- Whether your data is well organised and how many exceptions the process has.
- Effects that are not measured in hours, such as errors avoided or customer response time.

Is the result of the savings calculator reliable?
It works for prioritizing, not as a final figure. The calculator applies a fixed percentage, 40% or 55%, to the repetitive hours you enter, without knowing your process. Real savings will depend on how many exceptions the process has, how clean your data is and how your team adopts the solution. It is a directional estimate, not a quote or a promise of results.
Where do the 40% and 55% come from?
They are fixed assumptions of the calculator, not results measured on projects. The 40% applies to Automation: internal processes, integrations and flows that remove manual work. The 55% applies to AI + assistants: chatbots, agents and assistants that absorb repetitive queries and tasks. Neither reaches 100%, because the calculation assumes part of the work stays in a person's hands.
Does the estimated saving subtract what the project costs?
No. It is a gross saving: it does not subtract development, licences, the use of AI models or maintenance. To know whether it pays off, compare it with what it would cost to build and maintain the solution. As a reference, Digitup Studio takes on projects from €1,000; above that figure, the price depends on what the system has to do and which tools it connects to.
What cost per hour should I enter?
What an hour of that person costs the company, not just their salary: add the employer's social security contributions and other costs of the position, and divide the total by the hours they work per year. If the cost varies between people, use an average. If you are not sure, start with a cautious figure and compare several scenarios.
